Attorney Lesa Koski Learns How Divorce Affects Children on Doing Divorce Different #15 with Award Winning Filmmaker Ellen Bruno

You will learn how divorce affects your children in this insightful episode.  Lesa Koski interviews award-winning filmmaker Ellen Bruno on her documentary film Split (see trailer here).  Learn the lessons taught by the children themselves.  Bruno shares her personal journey through divorce and what she learned creating this film. A sequel is on the way, and we could not be more pleased.  There are many lessons that can help you help your kids through divorce.  Here are the four main ones:

1.  Children want to know what is happening.  (without all the hurtful details).

2.  Children need to know it is not their fault.

3.  Children need to know that the parents have this and everything is going to be ok.

4.  Children need to hear positive things about each parent.  They are 1/2 of each and  hearing bad information about one makes a child feel 1/2 bad.
